First of all, I’d like to say thank-you to all shire members and officers who have taken their time to attend monthly meetings, write reports, coordinate and volunteer at events, as well as invite others in to play with us. I am proud to say since I started as Seneschal, I have brought in over 10 new people to either play and be a member and/or take a role in an officer position. Also, I as Seneschal, have made new connections with several people outside our shire and am thankful for new found friendships.
Lastly, looking back at the last 2 years, I introduced or encouraged social gatherings both art & science, archery, and sharing food and drink at local pubs. I want to encourage us all to think how we can take the next step to be active, either in a main or deputy officer position and/or coordinating an event.
